Shed is up 8x6

 Well over the weekend Saturday 13th we started the build of the 8x6 shed... It was really windy so just put together the base.and flooring.

Wednesday 17th - The sides and the roof where added.

Thursday 18th - The roofing felt as added 

Now i need to start working out all the components needed 

Because the 2 tesla packs are 22-24v The solar charge controller will need to be 24v

I am figuring 2 100w panels in series 4 panels. I need to measure this at the weekend

Components

SimpBMS  (Definitely need a BMS)

4 100w solar panels (high wattage as I can get 115 150depending on size)

Looking at different battery cells and voltages 3.7 & 3.6 I'd had an idea just to buy a tesla battery module that is 24v came up with this as locally supplied 3kwh (module) This being 3kwh would have been ideal.

But one of the challenges is building the battery which i want to do. However I am going to have to do a lot more hunting for batteries as to build a 2kwh battery 300cells costs nearly £700 including tax

for my info voltage of cell * the amount of parallel cells 2000 * 20 = 40Ah

24v = 3.6 * 7cells

1 kwh = 140 cells on 24volt battery

Researching 18650s for a shed powerwall

 Researching 18650s for a shed powerwall

I am looking at building an 18650 powerwall with the VRUZEND Kit I wwill be using this as I am not very good with soldering and will not be doing any spot welding.

I would like to build a 12kwh 24v battery pack I want to run 500watts all day and will have solar to charge up the batteries during the day. thus leaving enough power for the running over night.

I have gone with 24v instead of 12v because I am not currently sure hat size cables i would need

Here is where it all starts

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will be able to start my Solar channel. I am currently considering what I would like to accomplish. 

1. I will be building a shed this will be the main focus I would like to make a DIY battery. However i have had no previous experience of either solar or batteries.

2. I'd love to build the channel up to allow live streaming.

3. daily garden pictures to show like an allotment picture and show how the garden grows over the year.
